Joined Rotary in 2006 and become a member of Rotary Club of Bombay Sea Coast. In the following year, He become a director in the club, for community service. Became a vocational director and then Director for International Projects.
In the year 2011, he became the Secretary of the Club. In the year 2012-13, he was the Director in the club as well as a District Chair in the District 3141.
He was appointed as the President of the Rotary Club of Mumbai Seacoast in the year 2014-15 under the District Governor Ajay Gupta. He won the Platinum Award for his club in that year and it was a major achievement as he was selected from 160 presidents.
In the years 2015-16, 16-17, 21-22, he was appointed as Avenue and Co- avenue Chair of various avenues. He became A. G. (Astt. Governor) in 2019-20 under the leadership of Rtn. Harjeet Talwarji and was entrusted the responsibility of managing 6 clubs in that year. In 2021, he was appointed as the D. S. (District Secretary) under the leadership of DG Sunnil Mehra and was managing 16 clubs. His group was called He-Man and in the year 2020-22, they completed the highest number of projects in District 3141.
He was appointed as the New Generation Service Exchange (NGSE) chair and the
Hemang Jangla’s major milestone is that he cofounded RMB- Rotary Means Business. When he was president of RCBS in 2014-15 he became aware of the launch of the first ever Rotary Means Business (RMB) launch at Coimbatore, TN. He cofounded the first RMB Chapter- Numero Uno in Mumbai and was elected twice as President. He is currently the mentor of the chapter.
Today RMB Numero Uno is a premier club in Mumbai with 50+ strong members. Numero Uno is also known in other districts like 3140, 3131. Hemang Jangla has done many cross chapter meetings as well as cross city RMB’s, a Conclave at Kolkata, Pune, Airoli, Ahmedabad, Jaipur etc. Today the chapter is enabling multiple business transactions among the members.
